Penn State dominated Michigan in front of a White Out and the largest home crowd in Beaver Stadium history.

Now the Nittany Lions players are thanking fans for their support after the No. 2 Nittany Lions beat Michigan, 42-13.

Penn State’s official Twitter account shared videos of RB Saquon Barkley and Parker Cothren giving thanks to the fans.

“Nittany Lions fans, we are so thankful for you guys. You guys are amazing,” Barkley said in a video. “Without you guys, we wouldn’t be the team we are right now. 110 (thousand), new record — that’s amazing. We’re so thankful for you guys.”

Senior defensive lineman Parker Cothren also had a message for the fans.

“You know, you can’t really say enough about the fans. They’re awesome — best in the country for sure. They really make us take our game to the next level. We can’t thank them enough for everything they do.”

ESPN’s College GameDay was at Penn State this past weekend, with Kirk Herbstreit later sharing a video he shot from the booth that showed the Penn State fans singing “Sweet Caroline.”

GameDay will be following Penn State this week, too. Though the Nittany Lions aren’t home this week, the popular preview show will be at Penn State’s game at Ohio State. It’s a huge Big Ten East game between the No. 2 and No. 6 teams in the country.
