At the Oregon Ducks’ pro day in Eugene, running back Kani Benoit posted an impressive 4.40 40-yard dash time.

The Oregon senior tailback had 584 yards and 10 touchdowns on 88 carries in 2017. According to the Register-Guard, Benoit says that’s the fastest time he’s ever posted.
“I’ve never run that fast here in my life,” said Benoit, who ran for 1,346 yards and 17 scores in four seasons as Royce Freeman’s backup. “I’m extremely pleased. I ran 4.4 back in Phoenix, so I just tapered off at the right time and expected to run the same here.”
