Oklahoma gained a new reporter in Sooners linebacker Ogbonnia Okoronkwo on Thursday.
Okoronkwo joined the media contingent in Norman, Oklahoma, for quarterback Baker Mayfield’s press conference, pulling out his smart phone to video the presser as any multimedia-savvy journalist would.

Mayfield just returned from a long week of award shows and interviews, and it seems he can’t get even get away from the media in the locker room.
Okoronkwo, a second-team All-American, has been dominant on the field with 71 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, 8 sacks and 3 forced fumbles this season. His efforts have helped Oklahoma win a third-consecutive Big 12 championship and get back into the College Football Playoff.
The fierce defender, however, has a funny side. And Mayfield seemed to take it in stride.
Although, if Okoronkwo were to actually join the Oklahoma media at some point, pray for a few of the Sooner media folks who have to go up against the linebacker in the Oklahoma media flag football game.
