WATCH: Mike Gundy plays saxophone in incredible Oklahoma State hoops promo for Valentine’s Day

Trust us when we say that the promo Mike Gundy just cut for Oklahoma State’s Valentine’s Day basketball game has to be seen to be believed.

Just take a look at Gundy doing his best Kenny G impression:

I don’t care if Gundy is lip-syncing (lip-saxing? sax-syncing?) on that saxophone or not. I choose to believe the mulleted Oklahoma State football coach is really serenading a couple with some smooth jazz while wearing sunglasses indoors.

It’s a shame Cowboys basketball coach Mike Boynton, Jr. couldn’t have made an appearance on the drums, or maybe on another saxophone. Then again, he’s probably focused on Oklahoma State’s game against Kansas State, which tips off at 6 p.m. Wednesday from Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Tickets for that game can be had for as little as $7 each on Ticketmaster. If you take your Valentine to the game, split some popcorn and get a large drink each, you’re probably looking at around a $35 date. Steaks at The Ranchers Club in Stillwater, Okla., one of the city’s finest dining establishments, start at around $42 each.

It’s pretty clear what your best option is for Valentine’s Day at Oklahoma State — although Gundy playing the saxophone is not guaranteed in the price of admission.
