WATCH: Les Miles receives huge ovation in return to Baton Rouge

You always miss things a lot more after they are gone, right?

That’s the case for LSU, as former head coach Les Miles was greeted with a roar on Saturday at Tiger Stadium as the 2007 national championship team, coached by Miles, was honored.

Miles was notoriously fired after 11-plus seasons in charge of the Tigers, where he led them to two SEC titles and a national title. He was let go after a last-second loss to Auburn last season in Jordan-Hare Stadium, finishing his tenure in Baton Rouge with a 114-34 overall record.
