Lamar Jackson-Louisville football-elementary school-Heisman pose

Tis the season to appreciate this Cardinals legend.

Lamar Jackson isn’t expected to win a second straight Heisman Trophy tonight but to these local kids he’s still the greatest college player.

Four elementary students created a sweet Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer remix dedicated to the Louisville quarterback.

Jackson absolutely adored the rendition and shouted them out on his Twitter.

Jackson has a special relationship with kids across Louisville. Just a few days ago, Jackson visited Louisville’s West End Elementary School and taught the students the pose for the coveted trophy that he won last year.

The finalists for the 2017 Heisman Trophy are Jackson, Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield and Stanford running back Bryce Love.

Regardless of whether Jackson repeats, he’s still a winner to those kids and the entire Louisville community.
