Kentucky’s offense was being held scoreless during the first half against Mississippi State on Saturday, but the Wildcats would use an unusual play to get itself on the board.
With Kentucky quarterback Stephen Johnson about to go out of bounds at the 3-yard line, he seemed to push the ball forward into the end zone, which would be an illegal pass as he was pass the line of scrimmage.
Fortunately for the Wildcats, it was called a fumble, and wide receiver Blake Bone recovered the ball for the touchdown.
