WATCH: Kentucky basketball manager Kevin Massey, survivor of brain cancer, set to graduate

So often you hear only the bad news about what goes on in sports – another player arrested, some coach committing NCAA violations, a fan going over the edge in their support for their team – so it is great to see wonderful news when it happens.

Kevin Massey, a brain cancer survivor, is set to graduate from the University of Kentucky on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017. Massey was also involved with the basketball program, serving as a team manager after a promise from Wildcats coach John Calipari, who visited Massey when he was in the hospital at the age of 16.

“It’s so inspiring what he’s been able to accomplish at this point in his life, with all the things that were thrown at him,” Calipari recently said.

This video is certainly amazing to see and proves that anything in life is possible when you are determined to make it happen.
