Jeff Badet-40 yard dash-oklahoma-pro day-nfl combine

Former Oklahoma receiver Jeff Badet posted a blazing time in the 40-yard dash during his pro day workout on Wednesday.

Badet was clocked at an unofficial 4.27 seconds, which would be faster than the fastest time at the combine this year. LSU’s Donte Jackson, Ohio State’s Denzel Ward and Tulane’s Perry Nickerson all tied for the best official combine time at 4.32 seconds.

Badet utilized that speed often for Oklahoma last season after arriving as a graduate transfer from Kentucky. He caught 26 passes for 400 yards (15.4 yards per reception) and 3 touchdowns in 2017.

The former Sooner posted some other impressive numbers as well, including a 39 1/2-inch vertical leap and a 1o foot, 11-inch broad jump.

Badet is currently projected as a likely undrafted free agent by NFL.com. Perhaps those numbers will improve his draft stock.
