Former Oklahoma State wide receiver James Washington made a drastic improvement with his vertical jump.
Washington posted a 39-inch vertical jump at Oklahoma State’s pro day on Thursday. Washington’s mark at pro day is a 4.5-inch improvement from his jump at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Washington’s pro day vertical jump would’ve been the third-best among the wide receivers at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine. LSU’s DJ Chark and Maryland’s DJ Moore posted a 40-inch and 39.5-inch vertical jump, respectively, in Indianapolis.
Washington had a solid performance at the combine, but he can win over a few more teams with an impressive pro-day outing.
The 39-inch vertical jump is a solid start.
When is the 2018 NFL Draft?
The likes of Washington and former Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph are hoping to hear their names during the 2018 NFL Draft. The event is scheduled for April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
ESPN, ESPN2 and NFL Network will broadcast the event.
