WATCH: Jake Bentley is all class as he consoles a devastated Jarrett Guarantano

South Carolina pulled off a huge road win over Tennessee on Saturday. And while Jake Bentley may not have had his best game on the field, he showed he’s one of the best in college football with what he did afterwards.

As a number of South Carolina players were celebrating on the field, Bentley noticed that Tennessee quarterback Jarrett Guarantano was on the ground, helmet off and devastated as the Volunteers came up just short on the final drive.

So Bentley ran over, helped the young Tennessee quarterback up and gave him some encouraging words after a hard fought game.

Bentley showed why he is a great representative of South Carolina, as he did just enough to guide the Gamecocks to a win. And he showed that he’s a truly good dude, consoling a beaten oppoentn. Bentley was 15-24 for 129 yards. But the Gamecocks got the win an improved to 5-2 on the season.

South Carolina returns home to play Vanderbilt on Oct. 28.
