Coming off of the school’s first Final Four appearance since 1939, Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks look like an entirely new team this season.

The Ducks most of their top level talent, including Dillon Brooks, Jordan Bell and Tyler Dorsey. The 2017-18 Ducks will look nothing like the team that barely lost to North Carolina in the Final Four last April.

At Pac-12 media day on Thursday, Altman stated the obvious by saying the Ducks have a lot of important pieces to replace.

While the Ducks will be without their top three players (and many other key contributors) from last season, the team did add a lot of talent over the offseason. The Ducks added graduate transfer Elijah Brown, along with 4 freshman whom Altman seems to be very enthusiastic about.

In an interview with the Pac-12 Network on Thursday, Altman said he liked the overall talent level of the team.

While it may take awhile for the Ducks to mesh, Altman believes that the talent will blend together and that the Ducks can once again compete for a Pac-12 title.

The Pac-12 preseason media poll has Oregon pegged as the fourth-best team in the conference, only trailing Arizona, USC and UCLA.
