WATCH: Comedian ‘FunnyMaine’ parodies how Alabama basketball fans watched postseason

Alabama basketball endured a rollercoaster of emotions this season, but the campaign ends the same way Alabama’s football season did: With a hilarious parody from comedian FunnyMaine.

The Crimson Tide’s year on the hardwood came to an unceremonious close against No. 1-seeded Villanova on Friday, as the Wildcats drained 3-pointer after 3-pointer en route to an 81-58 victory.

But Avery Johnson’s squad has plenty to be proud of, which FunnyMaine details in his latest parody. From nearly coming back to defeat Minnesota with three players, to a memorable and historic SEC Tournament performance, Alabama had a solid season.

Here’s the latest parody:

A few great moments didn’t quite make the cut, but shouldn’t be ignored. Among them: Freshman guard Collin Sexton dismantled then-player of the year favorite Trae Young in Tuscaloosa and Alabama smoked SEC co-champ Tennessee by 28 points in February.

With Sexton likely heading to the NBA, some around the country will likely expect Alabama to take a step back next year. But the Tide have just one senior, Riley Norris, and could show improvement next season if players like John Petty and Donta Hall continue to make a leap.

If that happens, perhaps FunnyMaine’s next end-of-season basketball video will have a happier ending.
