Baker Mayfield is facing his doubters in a new documentary series set to release in April.

The first trailer for the series, titled Behind Baker, dropped this week. It shows Mayfield responding to his critics and discussing some of his public mistakes, including his arrest in Arkansas in 2017.

“I felt, in that moment, that I had let my family down,” Mayfield said.

The reigning Heisman winner shared the teaser on Twitter.

Commentary from Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd, one of Mayfield’s most vocal detractors, features heavily in the trailer. His comments about Mayfield being “undraftable” because of that arrest are in the trailer, and so are his concerns about the former Oklahoma quarterback’s height.

Mayfield has always used his critics as motivation, and it looks like this new series will show him doing more of that. In the final moments of the trailer, he makes his goal for the upcoming NFL draft very clear.

“This is a moment that I’ve been dreaming of for so long,” Mayfield said. “Now I’m finally here. I want to go No. 1 overall.”

Some big stars make cameos in the trailer, including Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders, 2017 first-round draft pick Patrick Mahomes and of course Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley.
