BATON ROUGE, La. — The touchdown drought is over thanks to “White Lightning.”
Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham delivered a pass to a wide open Will Hastings to put the visiting Tigers up 10-0 in the first quarter inside Tiger Stadium. It was Auburn’s first first-half touchdown in Death Valley in ten years.

The score came after senior kicker Daniel Carlson capped Auburn’s initial drive with a 46-yard field goal.
Striking early was a critical key for Auburn’ offense heading into this game. Chip Lindsey has also shown early that he’s not afraid to let loose through the air.
