WATCH: Alabama’s mascot might have pulled off Crimson Tide’s best moment of NCAA Tournament game against Villanova

So, Villanova routed Alabama 81-58 in the NCAA Tournament on Saturday. After only trailing by five points at halftime, the Crimson Tide saw the East Region’s top seed break through for a huge second half. The Crimson Tide end the season with a 20-16 record.

There weren’t many highlights for Alabama in Pittsburgh during this game. However, the Crimson Tide’s mascot produced a memorable moment with something that’s sure to make you think, “Well, how about that?”

Whatever the goal, Alabama’s mascot made itself one of the lasting images of this season-ending game for the Crimson Tide. That’s a moral victory if we ever heard of one.

Let’s see if a similar move is pulled off at Bryant-Denny Stadium next fall with Nick Saban watching. Now that would be an accomplishment.
