Virginia Tech adds dual-threat quarterback James Graham in 2018 class

Dual-threat quarterback prospect James Graham announced his commitment to Virginia Tech on Sunday evening.

Graham, a Fitzgerald, Ga. native, is a 3-star quarterback according to 247Sports, but he is also listed as an “athlete.” A high school senior that will join the Hokies next season, Graham stands at 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds.

The quarterback officially visited the Virginia Tech campus Saturday, and it took him just one day to commit.

With Graham’s commitment, the Hokies have 22 prospects signed up for the 2018 recruiting class, 21 of which are 3-star players. That’s good enough for the fourth-highest rated class for 2018 according to 247Sports. The Hokies’ 2018 class is also 23rd in the nation.
