Vikings TE/Notre Dame alum Kyle Rudolph breaks out duck, duck goose touchdown celebration on Monday Night Football

Kyle Rudolph-Minnesota Vikings-Notre Dame alumni nfl-vikings vs bears

Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph provided a light moment to what had been a snoozefest of a Monday Night Football matchup between Minnesota and Chicago.

The Vikings led the Bears 3-2 with 8:24 left in the third quarter, which tells you a lot about how this game had been going thus far. But Rudolph, a member of the Fighting Irish from 2008-2010, spiced things up a little. He hauled in an 18-yard touchdown catch from Case Keenum to give the Vikings a 10-2 lead over the Bears at Soldier Field.

Afterwards, Rudolph and his teammates decided to have a little fun with the NFL’s relaxed celebration rules put into effect before the season.

The NFL’s relaxed rules have brought us some great celebrations this year. We saw the Eagles do a baseball-themed one on Sunday against the Cardinals with one of their biggest fans, L.A. Angels star slugger Mike Trout, in attendance. But you have to say that Rudolph and his teammates upped the ante a little in that department.
