USC forward Chimezie Metu will play on Saturday versus Utah, the school announced.
Metu’s name is allegedly on FBI investigation documents indicating that he and or his family received benefits illegal payments as a reward for signing a scholarship to play basketball at USC. Metu and Bennie Boatwright are two of 25 current of former players who were named in a Yahoo Sports report on the FBI probe.
Boatwright is currently out for the year with a torn ACL.
