USA TODAY columnist Dan Wolken on Arkansas: ‘The Razorbacks are just plain bad’

Arkansas took another loss on Saturday, this time to Auburn. Bret Bielma’s seat isn’t cooling off and the national media is taking notice.

USA TODAY columnist Dan Wolken listed Arkansas as miserable, but not quite miserable enough in his latest column.

There’s no more analysis or introspection needed. The Razorbacks are just plain bad, the type of bad where you’re almost compelled to keep watching them out of curiosity for what bad thing they’re going to do next.

He went on to list the Razorbacks 629 yards allowed and three turnovers as reasoning for why he mentioned Arkansas. He also said athetic director Jeff Long “needs” to voice support for Bret Bielema if he intends on keeping him.

Arkansas has now lost three straight games and heads to Ole Miss next, which isn’t a garunteed win by any stretch of the imagination. The time only continues to tick louder for the Razorbacks head coach.
