UCLA football recruiting: Two more 4-star studs join the Bruins this week

UCLA’s recruiting class has taken a momentary dip last week, in which four prospects decommitted from the Bruins. It’s to be expected with a coaching change like the one the program recently underwent, so don’t go touching that panic button. New head coach Chip Kelly is working on getting “his guys” into the program.

But that changed this week with two more four-star recruits jumping aboard the Bruins train.

Currently, UCLA’s 2018 recruiting class sits at 12 commitments and is ranked No. 20th nationally, up 17 spots from a week ago.  Much of the class had already been filled before this week, so Kelly is working with some newfound freedom.

Here’s an update on where things stand  for the 2018 class:

Where UCLA’s class ranks

UCLA’s 2018 class is ranked  No. 320nationally and  No. 3 in the Pac-12, according to the 247Sports composite. The Bruins have an average commit rating of 91.29, which ranks eighth in the nation, including seven recruits with a rating greater than 90.
