One of UCLA’s most prized recruits, 4-star quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson out of Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, took his official visit to the Bruins’ facilities over the weekend.
According to 247sports, the gunslinger was thrilled with his stay and new coach Chip Kelly.
“I had a phenomenal time,” Thompson-Robinson told 247Sports. “I had a great time with the players and they showed me a real good time.
“Coach Chip Kelly is a really good person and his message for me is that the best player will play, whether it’s a true freshman or a fifth-year graduate senior. The Rose Bowl was really cool — just the tradition of that place is historic and speaks volumes.”
A potential heir apparent to Josh Rosen, Thompson-Robinson finished his senior season at Bishop Gorman with 3,275 yards and 38 touchdowns through the air. 247sports also indicates that the quarterback won’t enroll early at UCLA.
