Twitter blasts Dabo Swinney after Kelly Bryant leaves Syracuse game with injury

The last time Clemson played in the Carrier Dome in 2015 they had to grind out a 10-point victory. Now it looks if the Tigers are going to remain undefeated, they’re going to have to do so without their starting quarterback for the remainder of the game.

Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant left the field with an injury with 45 seconds left in the first half vs. Syracuse, as the Tigers trail the Orange 17-14 at halftime.

Bryant had to be carried off into the locker room before halftime after a third down play in which the quarterback was slammed to the turf.

Zerrick Cooper started the second half in Bryant’s place.

After last week’s victory, Bryant rolled his ankle and was wearing a boot before being cleared to go vs. Syracuse.

Twitter was filled with plenty of complaints for Swinney playing Bryant vs. Syracuse and the Tigers trailing at the half.
