Jimbo Fisher has now landed his first commitment as a coach at Texas A&M.

Jace Sternberger, a 3-star JUCO tight end out of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, announced his commitment to the Aggies on Sunday. Fisher left Florida State to become the Aggies coach on Dec. 1.

Sternberger is the No. 36 ranked JUCO player in the country and the No. 3 JUCO tight end.  This is the first commitment for the Aggies since they landed a commitment from 4-star defensive tackle Bobby Brown in October.

Prior to Sternberger’s commitment, the Aggies had the No. 19 class in the country and the No. 7 class in the SEC. Arkansas coach Chad Morris also picked up his first commitment as Arkansas’ coach on Sunday.
