Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher brings aboard elite recruiting coordinator from Florida State

SEC coaching hires

A trusted assistant and one of the top recruiting coordinators in the country is following Jimbo Fisher from Florida State to Texas A&M.

Tim Brewster, who served under Fisher as Florida State’s tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator in each of the last five seasons, will be a part of the Aggies’ staff.

On Tuesday morning, Brewster made the announcement on Twitter.

The Seminoles were stellar on the recruiting trail during each recruiting cycle that Brewster oversaw in Tallahassee after coming to the program in February 2013.

According to the 247Sports composite ranking, Florida State had the No. 4 class in 2014, No. 3 in 2015, No. 3 again in 2016 and No. 6 in 2017.

After 2016, Brewster was named the ACC’s top recruiter by ESPN.
