Tennessee Titans promote former Frog Josh Carraway to active roster

Kansas State-TCU-College GameDay

The Tennessee Titans have promoted former Horned Frog linebacker Josh Carraway to the active roster.

As a defensive end in college, Carraway racked up eight sacks and 11 tackles for a loss in his senior season. TCU finished 6-7 that year, the worst year for Horned Frog football while Carraway was on campus. During his junior season the Frogs ended with an 11-2 record, and tallied a 12-1 season when Carraway was a sophomore.

Despite his senior year not ending the way he might have wanted, Carraway was one of the most under-appreciated Horned Frogs. He clearly had the skill to switch positions and make it in the NFL, the Titans wouldn’t be signing him if he hadn’t made significant progress. Carraway’s time at TCU will be remembered as a defensive end, but he’ll have staying power at the next level as a linebacker.
