Tennessee losses 4-star running back following loss to South Carolina

Things are going from bad to worse for the Tennessee Volunteers as they’ve lost a commitment from a 4-star running back.

Lyn-J Dixon reopened his recruitment on Saturday afternoon, tweeting this just over an hour after the Volunteers lost to South Carolina at home. Dixon is a 4-star all-purpose back from Butler, Ga.

Tennessee still has a running back in the 2018 class, in the form of 3-star running back Anthony Grant. Before Dixon’s de-commitment, Tennessee had the No. 1 recruiting class int the SEC. Dixon had been committed to Tennessee since June.

The Volunteers take on Alabama next week.
