When a local boy was revealed to be a victim of bullying, a couple Tennessee football players decided to step up.

A video went viral Friday afternoon of a local Knoxville boy detailing the bullying he had endured at school.

Sophomore receiver Tyler Byrd and freshman quarterback Jarrett Guarantano both pledged to visit the boy and offer support.

Bullying in any situation is heartbreaking, but it’s good to see Tennessee players stepping up for kids in their area. Boyd says they’ll be on Twitter on Tuesday when they visit the boy, so look out for updates.
