Tennessee’s path for a first-ever Final Four appearance appears to be clearing, with No. 6-seed Miami getting upset by the No. 11-seeded Ramblers on Thursday afternoon.

The Vols road will go through Atlanta in the South Regional should they get past Loyola Chicago in the 6:10 p.m. game on Saturday in American Airlines Center.

The biggest upset on the first day of the NCAA tourney took place on the opposite side of the South Regional bracket when No. 13-seed Buffalo stunned No. 4-seed Arizona on Thursday night.

Kentucky will play Buffalo on Saturday in the Round of 32.

SEC Country’s Mike Griffith and WNML’s Josh Ward talk about the Vols’ NCAA Tournament hopes, and how the early upsets affect Tennessee’s chances.
