TCU deputy athletic director Jeremiah Donati will become TCU’s next director of intercollegiate athletics, TCU Chancellor Dr. Victor J. Boschini Jr. announced in a release on Monday.
Donati replaces Chris Del Conte, who left for the same position at Texas after serving eight years in Fort Worth, Texas. Donati has been with TCU since 2011 and worked closely with Del Conte in shaping the thriving Horned Frogs athletic department.
“Today I am delighted to name Jeremiah Donati to this new role, Boschini said in a press release. “His tremendous experience, his stellar work ethic and his sense of Horned Frog pride will be instrumental in assuring continued success of our athletic programs, along with ensuring that they remain integrated with the strategic direction of the university.”
Donati started as a Frog Club gift officer and worked his way up to associate athletics director and associate vice chancellor in 2013. He earned his previous title of deputy athletic director in 2016 before taking the next step in his career.
“It truly is home to me,” Donati said in a release, “I feel incredibly blessed and humbled to be appointed to the position of director of intercollegiate athletics.”
