TCU recruit Justin Rogers doing some recruiting of his own

One of TCU’s top 2018 recruits might just be the Horned Frogs’ most valuable recruiter.

Justin Rogers, a one-time 5-star now designated as a high 4-star, is making his best efforts to attract some high-level classmates to TCU. Rogers attends Parkway High School in Bossier City, Lou., and reached out to a fellow Louisiana recruit on Twitter.

Ja’Marr Chase, a 4-star wide receiver from Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie, took his official visit to TCU this weekend.

Rogers took notice, and made sure Chase knew the two would pair well together in Fort Worth.

Chase was originally committed to Florida, but reopened his recruitment on November 8. Michigan is also recruiting him heavily.

Rogers also shouted out a couple of other top TCU targets, 3-star linebacker Aaron Brule (also from Archbishop Rummel) and 4-star running back Jashaun Corbin from Florida.

Rogers has been a TCU commit since May, but other schools are trying to pry him away from the Horned Frogs. Texas A&M made a scholarship offer on December 8, and LSU is still lurking, according to 247Sports.

But if he’s still recruiting for the Horned Frogs, it’s a good sign that Rogers still has his sights set on donning the purple and white and playing for TCU.
