TCU opens as 7-point favorite against Iowa State

TCU and Iowa State are slated to meet in an unexpected top-25 matchup at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa on Oct. 28. The No. 4 Horned Frogs are the early favorites over the No. 25 Cyclones.

TCU opened as a 7-point favorite over Iowa State on Sunday.

The Horned Frogs are 4-1 against Iowa State since joining the Big 12 in 2012. The No. 15 Horned Frogs were upset at home by Iowa State that same season.

TCU is 7-0 after defeating Kansas 43-0 on Saturday. Iowa State is 5-2 and 3-1 in Big 12 play — both marks that the Cyclones have not seen since 2002.

TCU has defeated Iowa State by double digits the last three times the teams have met. Iowa State, meanwhile, has defeated the only ranked opponent that it has faced this season — taking down Oklahoma on the road on Oct. 7.

Kickoff for the TCU-Iowa State game is set for 3:30 p.m. CT.
