A band of thunderstorms and cold weather has swept across the middle of the country this week, forcing several Big 12 baseball teams to adjust.
TCU, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State had home series planned for this weekend, and all three schools are facing rescheduling problems.
The Horned Frogs were scheduled to host Long Beach State for a three-game series at Lupton Stadium. The series is still on, but Friday’s game has been moved to Saturday to create a doubleheader.
Tonight's game is officially postponed. A doubleheader is now scheduled for Saturday starting at 2 p.m. Tickets from Friday's game can be used for Game 2 only on Saturday. The stadium will be cleared following Game 1. #GoFrogs pic.twitter.com/kPasBK3MVv

Earlier this week, TCU had to cancel its Tuesday game against UT-Arlington. A makeup date for that game has not been determined.
Texas Tech will play a Saturday doubleheader as well. The Red Raiders will play two games against UTSA on Saturday before concluding the three-game series on Sunday.

Texas Tech has started its season off on a scorching-hot streak. The Red Raiders are averaging 12.2 runs per game so far, including a 21-6 win over Maine last Sunday. Texas Tech also played a doubleheader last Saturday in the four-game Maine series.
Oklahoma State will play a doubleheader against Marist Saturday starting at 1 p.m., as Friday’s game has been postponed. The Cowboys are granting free admission to all three games this weekend.
