The Seffner (Fla.) Armwood star hosted Taggart at his home on Tuesday and will visit the Seminoles on Saturday.
Lamar, who is ranked as the No. 10 strong-side defensive end in the country, also said that he would take an official visit to Florida in January.
Lamar committed to Oregon on August 4 and the Ducks still seem to be in the running to get him. However, with Florida and Florida State now in the mix, it will be up to Mario Cristobal to convince Lamar that Oregon is still the place for him.
