LSU edge rusher Arden Key is questionable for the Citrus Bowl against Notre Dame, according to Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron. Key underwent surgery in late November to repair a finger he broke in October.
Orgeron Arden Key: "He's questionable. Hasn't come around like I thought. He's not practicing. That's all I know." #LSU

The injury was not considered season-ending at the time, as Key was expected to be ready for LSU’s bowl game. There’s plenty of time between now and New Year’s Day, but that may not be the case.
Key had his best season in 2016, notching 11 sacks and forcing 2 fumbles. He hasn’t been as good in 2017, but he’s still considered one of the most talented pass rushers in the nation. Key has 5.5 sacks this year.
Key’s absence would likely play a big role in Notre Dame’s game plan. This is something to monitor for both schools in the coming days.
