Dan Mullen’s departure from Mississippi State has likely made a high-profile commit decide he’s a better fit elsewhere.
Four-star running back Fabian Franklin decommitted from the Bulldogs on Dec. 10 and then committed to Texas Christian University according to Yancy Porter of Scout.

Franklin is the 2nd best player in Mississippi according to 247 Sports. He’s also a top-300 player nationally and the no. 14 running back according to the site.
While he’s now committed to TCU, Franklin has already flipped once. Other schools which have offers out include Tennessee, Ole Miss, Michigan, Georgia and Alabama.
The Hattiesburg native attends Hattiesburg High School and just gave Joe Moorhead a new spot to fill in his 2018 class.
