South Carolina recruiting: Dakereon Joyner, Josh Vann put up big numbers

Led by the top-rated prospects, several South Carolina commitments to the 2018 signing class made big players for their schools this week.

Four-star quarterback Dakereon Joyner passed for 348 yards and 2 touchdowns in Fort Dorchester High School’s 52-0 win over West Ashley.

Four-star wide receiver Josh Vann caught a pair of touchdown passes for Tucker High School in a 62-12 rout of Drew. Vann’s scores went for 61 and 34 yards.

Three-star running back Deshaun Fenwick had 5 carries for 17 yards and a touchdown in Braden River High School’s 55-7 win against Drew.

Three-star wide receiver Ronnie Jamison rushed for 16 yards and a touchdown in Highland Community College’s 48-24 loss to Iowa Western. Jamison also had a 9-yard catch and a 35-yard kickoff return.

Three-star wide receiver Tyqaun Johnson has caught 7 touchdown passes this season for Screven County (Ga.) High School.
