SEC Network releases clever Stranger Things spoof: ‘Saban Things’

Thousands — if not millions — of people are looking forward to the return of the Netflix hit series Stranger Things next Friday.

That includes, in all likelihood, many Alabama fans. However, the Tide’s performance on Saturday may have been an early reminder of their favorite show, as Alabama’s win over Tennessee was their 11th in the row against the Vols. That’s right, 11; as in the main character in Stranger Things.

Capitalizing on that coincidence was the SEC Network, who released a spoof of Nick Saban’s dominance over Tennessee in a brief video they dubbed ‘Saban Things:’

Needless to say, that is a fun way to tie the country’s best college football team in with one of its most popular shows.
