Safety Paul Moala commits to Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Safety Paul Moala is staying home. The 3-star safety from Mishawaka, Ind. announced that he is committed to play for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Standing at 6-feet tall and 200 pounds, Moala is ranked the 10th-best player from Indiana and the 787th overall player in the 2018 recruiting class according to the 247Sports player rankings. Besides Notre Dame, Moala received offers from 10 other schools, including Iowa, Nebraska and Vanderbilt.

With his commitment, the Fighting Irish have 17 prospects signed up in the 2018 recruiting class, which is ranked 10th-best according to 247Sports. Of those 17 players, 9 of those are 4-star players and the other 8 are 3-star prospects.
