It hasn’t been a lot of fun to be Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher this season.
Fisher’s Seminoles are now 2-4 on the season after losing to Louisville 31-28 on Saturday. After the game, Fisher made some headlines by responding to a critical fan, telling him to “walk down here and say it.”
Now, you might expect that to be the kind of incident a coach quickly regrets, but that is evidently not how Fisher feels about the situation. According to a report by Safid Deen of the Orlando Sentinel, Fisher defended the move, though he did acknowledge that he probably shouldn’t have said anything.
Regardless, Fisher’s biggest problem is not getting along with fans. It’s getting his team’s season turned around.
