Purdue plans to play multiple quarterbacks against Wisconsin, per report

Two is better than one, right?

Well, how about three?

According to Stacy Clardie of GoldandBlack.com, Purdue coach Jeff Brohm said the plan is to use multiple quarterbacks against Wisconsin on Saturday. And, not just Elijah Sindelar and David Blough — who have seen action in each of the team’s first five games this season — but Jared Sparks as well.

“It was good to see Jared Sparks be able to get in there and do some things at receiver because I know he can probably do some things at quarterback,” Brohm said. “And depending on how the weather is, all three of them will be available.”

As Clardie wrote, Sparks hasn’t seen time as a quarterback since Week 3 against Missouri. If the Boilermakers want to pull an upset against the Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium — where Brohm’s team is 17-point underdogs according to mybookie.ag — maybe using three quarterbacks is the perfect formula for success.

Only time will tell.

Kickoff for the game is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on BTN.
