Purdue football announces individual awards for seniors

While Purdue football is focused on winning its first bowl game since 2011 when it takes on Arizona in the Foster Farms Bowl on Dec. 27, that didn’t prevent the team from announcing individual awards for its senior players on Sunday.

The Purdue football Twitter account released the winners of the awards. See the award winners below:

“Red” Mackey Award: LB Ja’Whaun Bentley

Noble E. Kizer Award: P Jake Herr

Leonard Wilson Award: WR Anthony Mahoungou

“Pop” Doan Award: RB Markell Jones, LB Markus Bailey, LB Danny Ezechukwu and P Joe Schopper

Kiwanis Citizenship Award: QB David Blough
