PF prospect Duncan Demuth commits to Oklahoma State over Florida State, Princeton

Duncan Demuth-Commitment-Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State men’s basketball added the first piece of talent to its 2018 recruiting class on Sunday, as 2018 power forward prospect Duncan Demuth announced his commitment to play for the Cowboys.

Demuth received offers from 14 schools — including Florida State — during his recruitment, but the 6-foot-8, 215-pound power forward from Seminole, Fla. ultimately decided to head west instead of staying in his home state. Demuth made his official visit to Stillwater, Okla. on Oct. 13 after being offered on Oct. 4.

Oklahoma State wasn’t the only Big 12 school that pursued Demuth. He received an offer from Iowa State in June.

You can view Demuth’s highlights from his junior year at Seminole High School below.
