Penn State coach James Franklin was trying to be the best actor he could be Saturday night.
After No. 2 Penn State routed No. 19 Michigan, 42-13, ABC interviewed Franklin after the game.
When asked about how Penn State will prepare for next week’s game at Ohio State, Franklin talked about his normal preparations…and then might have pretended to forget his team has the Buckeyes next.
“Watch the film, there’s a lot of things that we still got to get corrected, just like we do every single week,” Franklin said after the win. “Go in, watch the film, make corrections, grow from it, and then obviously…you say we play who next week?”
After being told the Nittany Lions play Ohio State next, Franklin continued.
“Really good team obviously, we’ll start working on them in an hour.”

Franklin’s time reference is that the Nittany Lions will celebrate beating Michigan until midnight before starting to prepare for Ohio State.
