Paul Finebaum has jabbed Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh once more in an amazing way.
By now, it’s not a surprise that the SEC Network analyst is no fan of Harbaugh. One of the highlights of the spat between the two men happened last February, when Harbaugh called Finebaum “Pete” for some reason in addition to labeling the analyst as an “unabashed SEC water carrier.” A classic moment, indeed.
On Monday, Finebaum’s Twitter account introduced the Pete Finebaum Award, which will be “awarded annually to the best fourth-place Power 5 division finisher.” Harbaugh’s Wolverines (8-4) happened to finish fourth in the Big Ten East this season with a 5-4 record in conference play.
So yeah, this is no coincidence.
Check out the details below, including the nominees. Finebaum’s Twitter account says the award will debut Tuesday.
Tomorrow we will debut the #PeteFinebaum Award

Oh, Finebaum, you’re amazing. Consider this a big win in his column.
Let’s hope this rivalry between the analyst and Harbaugh continues for a long, long time. Your move, Coach.
