Oklahoma tweaks uniforms for College Football Playoff

The Oklahoma Sooners may not be changing their entire uniforms for the College Football Playoff, but some tweaks are certainly in order.

The only real noticeable differences are the Rose Bowl patch, and the switch from a white swoosh to a crystal swoosh. This isn’t a complete overhaul of the uniform, and definitely feels appropriate for a Rose Bowl appearance.

The Sooners messed with their classic uniforms twice this season, and neither time ended up great. When the Sooners rolled out their all-white road uniforms against Baylor, they barely survived the trip, 49-41. The Sooners went all-red against Iowa State this year, and took their only loss of the season thus far, 38-31.

Luckily for the Sooners, the changes to the classic crimson and cream appear to be minimal.
