Oklahoma State RG Teven Jenkins leaves Texas game with apparent injury

Teven Jenkins-Oklahoma State-Injury

The Oklahoma State offensive line appears to have taken another hit, as right guard Teven Jenkins did not return in the second half for the Cowboys.

Jenkins, a redshirt freshman, had been evaluated for a “lower extremity injury” in the first half before returning to the field, per Oklahoma State radio. But he was replaced by redshirt sophomore Lamaefe Galea’i at right guard at the start of the second half.

Oklahoma State was only tied 7-7 with Texas at halftime before going down 10-7 in the third quarter. It was the lowest scoring first half for the Cowboys all season.

Oklahoma State has dealt with depth issues on the offensive line since Big 12 play began in late September. Depending on the severity of Jenkins’ injury, it could be the latest blow for the Cowboys.
