Oklahoma State freshman defensive end Brock Martin was expected to redshirt the 2017 season. Now, that’s all but guaranteed.
Martin tweeted earlier this week he was “doing well” after undergoing surgery for an undisclosed injury.
I'm doing well after surgery.
I thank God for all my setbacks, because of Him able to get back

Martin was a 3-star recruit in Oklahoma State’s 2017 recruiting class. The Oologah product was ranked as the 15th-best player in Oklahoma.
Cowboys coach Mike Gundy listed Martin as one of many newcomers who could see significant playing time, but Martin had yet to play through Oklahoma State’s first five games, possibly because of the injury.
