Oklahoma State fans think ESPN broadcaster Steve Levy is rooting for Texas

Oklahoma State faced a tougher challenge than expected against Texas on Saturday, and fans were even more frustrated thanks to ESPN’s Steve Levy.

Cowboy fans didn’t appreciate the commentary from Levy or color commentator Brian Griese during the game. Some of them actually accused the ESPN crew of openly rooting for the Longhorns.

While none of Levy, Griese and sideline reporter Todd McShay have connections to either school, all of them were probably excited to be covering a closer game than expected. Still, Oklahoma State fans didn’t enjoy the tones of pleasant surprise in Levy’s voice throughout the game.

Here are some of the best comments from Oklahoma State fans on Twitter during the matchup.

While a lot of fans thought Levy was secretly pulling for Texas, others think he’s just a bad announcer.

Following that theme:

Levy was on the call for Oklahoma State’s only loss this season, at home against TCU in Week 4.

That fact was not lost on at least one fan, who said Levy is obviously a jinx.
