Oklahoma State’s coaches are hard at work recruiting, however, Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy seems to be having some fun along the way.

Gundy traveled around the state of Oklahoma in a helicopter, visiting the likes of 3-star OL Bryce Bray in Bixby, Oklahoma, and 3-star safety Jason Taylor of Carl Albert High School in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

From what was posted online, it seems like the trip was mostly to lock down a few players already for 2018, but you have to respect the Mullet for pulling out all the stops trying to secure his guys.

Check out a few videos and photos from Monday’s Gundy helicopter tour:

Gundy seems to have paid 2018 OL commit Jacob Farrell of Sulphur a visit.

It also appears Gundy made a good impression with Taylor.

Oklahoma State’s 2018 class currently ranks No. 23 on Rivals.com’s team recruiting rankings. The Cowboys have 20 commitments with the early signing period eight days away.

Hopefully, riding around in a helicopter for recruiting purposes works out better for Gundy than it did for former Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin.
